CINCINNATI (AP) — A southwest Ohio judge has set bonds totaling $600,000 for a man accused of causing a multi-vehicle crash and then running naked on a southwest Ohio interstate.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (http://cin.ci/1eU7lMT ) that 45-year-old Tracy Martin blames brake failure for the crash. Martin was in a wheelchair for a Saturday initial court appearance.

The suburban Cleveland man faces charges of aggravated vehicular assault, vehicular assault, resisting arrest and operating a vehicle under the influence.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says lab tests will be done to determine what substance caused him to be under the influence.

Authorities say his pickup truck struck six vehicles before he got out and started running in the nude.

He had been hospitalized after the Wednesday evening crash. Five other people were treated at hospitals.
