RED LION, Pa. (AP) -- Authorities say an electrician is dead after a one-ton electrical box fell on him at a water treatment plant in York County.
York Area Regional Police identify the victim as 55-year-old Benedict Todt of Gardeners, Adams County.
Authorities believe Todt was installing the switchbox Monday when it fell on him, trapping him beneath it.
York County Deputy Coroner Terry Meyers says no one witnessed the accident.
Authorities say Todt was killed at the Red Lion Water Authority Pumping Station, which is under expansion. He worked for Lobar Construction Services.
The U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
