PITTSTON, Pa. (AP) -- A woman in northeastern Pennsylvania is accused of setting her personal care home on fire.
Police say 59-year-old Charlotte Raeggs put dozens of people in danger when she set her curtains on fire inside her room at Pittston Manor on March 1.
WNEP-TV said she admitted to the crime in court on Tuesday and was taken to the Luzerne County jail.
Authorities said the fire was put out quickly but 58 people were inside the building at the time. That's why Raeggs is charged with risking a catastrophe.
She told WNEP that she set the fire because the other residents were mean to her.
