EBENSBURG (AP) -- Police were trying to find an efficient burglar who has quickly targeted at least four social or country clubs in western Pennsylvania, including three in one night earlier this week.
Police say the masked burglar uses a crow bar to quickly enter a building, then grabs cash or other items before leaving. The burglar also seems to know where security cameras are, and will push them out of the way.
The same burglar is believed to have targeted the Ebensburg Country Club and Windber County Club in Cambria County, and the Holsopple VFW post in neighboring Somerset County between midnight and about 1: 30 a.m. Monday.
In all cases, the burglar left within a few minutes.
The Jerome American Legion, also in Somerset County, was targeted March 30.
