A German man upset over a breakup decided to take the concept of splitting property with his ex very, very literally, according to published reports.

He posted a video to YouTube showing himself cutting items ranging from a television to a chair to a car in half. The man, who went by the name Der Juli, then posted half of each of the items he sawed on eBay for sale, reported UPI and Stuff magazine.

In the video, the man writes in German: "Thank you for 12 'beautiful' years Laura. you've really earned half."

As of Thursday night, Der Juli's half Apple MacBook Pro had received the highest bids on eBay – 81 euros, the equivalent of $92.
