CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) — A Carson City woman decided to sing and dance a thank you to McDonald's a year after the fast food restaurant opened on Winnie Street.
The Nevada Appeal reports (http://bit.ly/1IBPphR ) that Carol Tierney decided to gather her friends and create a flash mob at the McDonald's on Thursday morning.
The group wore cowboy hats, sang a song they called the "Big Mac Boogie" and square danced while other McDonald's customers watched, some filming.
Tierney says the flash mob marks the expiration date of her coupon for 50 free Big Macs. She got the deal by waiting in line for three hours during the restaurant's grand opening.
Tierney said she planned to share her last 20 Big Macs during the friend group's Thursday afternoon card game.
