Pennsylvania is experiencing 9-1-1 outages across the state, according to the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency.
At 3:20 p.m., PEMA sent out a statewide message about "intermittent 9-1-1 outages" that suggested anyone experiencing them should contact their local 9-1-1 center on a non-emergency line.
The non-emergency numbers for Columbia County and Montour County are 570-784-6300 and 570-275-1911 respectively. Luzerne County can be reached at 570-819-4916, while Northumberland County's non-emergency line is 570-988-4294.
Trevor Finn, Montour County aommissioner, said in a Facebook post that during the outage, residents could go their local fire departments and police stations directly to report a problem.
It is unclear how long the outage will affect emergency services.
