BLOOMSBURG — Court officials looking for two men wanted on warrants turned up evidence of a meth lab in town Thursday afternoon, police say.

When town police and officers from Pennsylvania State Probation, Columbia County Probation and the Sheriff's Office entered 354 Iron Street and took Rory Long and Michael Hess into custody around 6 p.m., they found what police called "components consistent with methamphetamine manufacturing" in their home. An SUV parked in the rear of the home also had evidence of meth making in it in plain view, police say.

Town police evacuated 354 Iron St., along with nearby homes and called in a specially trained State Police team to collect and dispose of the methmaking material.

Police say they plan to file charges in the case, and are still looking for one woman: Meghan Kathleen McAndrew-Long, who has an active warrant from Columbia County Probation, according to a press release.

Anyone with information on the location of McAndrew-Long can reach Columbia County Probation at 570-389-5650.
