Bloomsburg advances to PIAA semifinal

BELLEFONTE — The Bloomsburg High School softball team beat Southern Huntingdon, 4-2, on Thursday in the PIAA Class A quarterfinals.

With the win, the Panthers advance to the state semifinals for the first time in program history. They will play District 11 champion Williams Valley, an 11-5 winner over Bristol, on Monday at a site and time to be determined.
