BLOOMSBURG — The Town of Bloomsburg has issued a declaration of disaster emergency.

Here's what that means for you, from a town press release:

"At this time the Town of Bloomsburg is asking all residents to refrain from driving on town roadways, allowing the Department of Public Works to work on snow removal uninhibited by traffic.

If it’s absolutely necessary to drive on Bloomsburg roadways, please give (Public Works) employees plenty of room to work.

Residents can expect parking restrictions in the town’s municipal lots in the next several days, to allow for snow removal. Information will be relayed to residents via the town’s various web pages, Facebook pages and local news media."
