Clarification: Salem meeting is not hearing

The Salem Township Planning Commission will meet in regular session tonight at 6:30; on its agenda is a review of a use application by Moxie Energy for a natural gas-fueled power plant, Zoning Officer Karen Karchner says. The commission members will review the application to determine what their recommendation will be to the board of supervisors. Residents are welcome to attend and ask questions, however, the session tonight will not be a formal hearing, Karchner said. That has yet to be scheduled. A story on page 8 of today's edition created the incorrect impression that the meeting tonight would be the formal public hearing on the project. That has yet to be scheduled.
