SOUTH CENTRE TWP. – Police are looking for a driver who sped away after blowing a stop sign and slamming into another car on Monday night, officers say.

They say they're looking for a 2002-2007 gray Saturn Vue SUV. The front left corner of the vehicle should be damaged - with signs of a crash on the bumper cover, a smashed headlight and fender with a piece of plastic broken out.

That car was headed south on Low Street around 9:43 p.m. Monday when it ran a stop sign at the street's intersection with Old Berwick Road and struck a 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, driven by Roxanna Larsen, 38, of Berwick, police say.

The driver then left without checking on Larsen, who was uninjured, or exchanging information.

Officer Paul Kelly asked that anyone who may see the vehicle not try to stop it. Instead, they should take down a registration plate and call South Centre Police at 570-785-8552.
