Mushroom misidentified

A submitted photo printed on Page 9 of today's Press Enterprise shows a jack o' lantern mushroom, which is a toxic mushroom, according to multiple mushroom foragers who have contacted the Press Enterprise newsroom.

We'll have more on the difference between edible chicken of the woods mushrooms and toxic jack o' lanterns in Wednesday's paper.
