ELYSBURG -- Knoebels plans to add a metal coaster to its amusement park, it said in a social media announcement on Thursday. "Will you ride Impulse?" the amusement park asked as it posted a picture of a roller coaster that showed eight-person cars traveling around a twisty and loopy track with what looks like a near vertical plunge. The highest point of the coaster will be 98 feet, the park said via Twitter. That's 50 feet shorter than the Stratosfear drop ride.Get a better look at the planned coaster:

It expects construction on the ride to be complete in 2015, park representatives said on its Facebook page. The ride will be built in the area of the Bumper Boats and Boat Tag rides, which will be removed. The park now has two wooden roller coasters: Twister, which has been open since 1999 and is 101.5 feet tall, according to amusement park blogs. The Phoenix, which has been at the park since 1985, is 78 feet high. We have a reporter on the story and will have more on the ride later this afternoon, along with a full story in Friday's paper. Here's the Tweet that announced the ride:
