BLOOMSBURG - The town will test its emergency sirens at 3 p.m. This is just a test, and it will last approximately 60 seconds, said Chief Leo Sokoloski. The town's sirens are located at Eight and Catherine streets, on the Bloomsburg Fairground near West Pine Avenue and Leonard Street, and at the Bloomsburg School District maintenance building just off of West 11th Street. That last siren was just recently put in service, police say. Kawneer paid for it, Sokoloski said.
